Stuff The Bus 2025

Communities In Schools of Cape Fear is calling on companies and community members across the region to help us Stuff The Bus! For 25 years now, CIS has hosted the region’s largest school supply drive and distributed new items to students in public schools across New Hanover and Pender counties. Our goal is to ensure every student has what they need to enjoy a successful year in school.

Register as a collection site! 

We’re looking for partners to serve as a collection site for the CIS Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive! The drive kicks off in July and runs through August 14.

Simply click the link below to host a Stuff the Bus bin at your neighborhood clubhouse, business, church, or civic organization and collect new school supplies for students across New Hanover and Pender counties! It’s a rewarding way to give back and provide tangible support to students in our community.

Once the Google form is completed, our team will follow up and share the 2025 Stuff the Bus toolkit, featuring signage and best practices to help you promote your campaign!

How to donate new school supplies to local students

1. Visit one of our CIS Bus Stops on August 13 & 14 and personally stuff your newly purchased items in our school bus!  2025 Bus Stop Locations will be announced later this year. Click here for a sample supply list.

2. Shop our CIS Amazon Wish List or make a secure, online donation to CIS Cape Fear

3. Drop your items off in a yellow collection barrel at a business near you! Stay tuned for a 2025 interactive map of partners hosting a bin for the CIS Corporate Challenge!
